“Uncle Dohyun, wake up.” I opened my eyes to fingers prying my eyelids apart and found Hamin pestering me to play hide-and-seek. Seriously? After playing all night yesterday, he wanted to start again first thing in the morning? While I sighed, Hamin, buzzing with energy, ran around the house he’d turned into a jungle without so much as asking my permission. “Come find me!” While he ran around laughing so hard he was almost out of breath, I quietly sorted his things. The leaves scattered on the floor would all vanish in one sweep later, but the rest wouldn’t.
