Their priority list was set. Number one was Jamie Victoria, a promising Cursology prospect with excellent grades. Her energetic and proactive personality was another plus. Number two was Claudia Mendes. She was Dick’s ideal candidate: a Hemomancy main with a Venomology sub-specialty. Recruiting her would make the entire semester a breeze. They filled out the list all the way to their tenth choice. “Even if we can’t get Jamie or Claudia, the key is to not get hung up on it and move on to the next target quickly,” Dick advised. “Oh! And when we’re recruiting, I’m going to play up the fact that you’re Special Admission No. 1. You’re okay with that, right?”
