“Miss Hwani?” The moment he called her name, an uncontrollable wave of emotion overwhelmed her. Hwani finally opened her mouth and wailed. She could do nothing to stop the tears once they started and simply let them stream down her face. Ezio seemed taken aback. He grabbed her and pulled her up roughly. The moment he saw her tear-stained face, his expression twisted. “What… What is this? What on earth is going on all of a sudden?” Feeling as if he were scolding her, Hwani forced herself to choke back her tears. Even so, her breathing remained ragged, and her voice came out broken and strained.
