From November to the end of the year, everyone around Mingyu was buzzing with news of acceptances and rejections. Last night, the New Year’s Eve bell had tolled. He woke up after what felt like any other night, but the first digit of his age had changed. Cha Mingyu had finally become an adult. His late teens, spent living alone in a new city, had passed in the blink of an eye. On his first day as a twenty-year-old, he received a message from his parents.
