Chapter 12

High school wasn’t much different from middle school. Since the schools shared the same foundation, a lot of his old classmates had moved up with him. It felt like only the building had changed. Ihyun, stuck in the same class as Sujeong yet again, automatically took the seat next to him and started organizing his bag. He had studied ahead, but the kids in this neighborhood probably had too, so he was anxious about his grades. Studying was the only card Ihyun had left to play. Figuring he might as well get some reading in before the bell rang, he pulled his English vocabulary book out of his bag.
